Max amount of memory of RPi ?

Hi Bryan,

I was looking at the status overview page and I noticed something.

This is on my RPi but mine has 512mb instead of the 256mb, is there a way to increase this or do you have to recompile the kernel / openwrt for the memory to be available ?

You have to replace the bootloader and all that jazz with the updated one that supports 512MB. It isn't worth the time though because the entire system peaks at 32MB of RAM in use when you're hitting the website with 10 connections, add 24MB of filesystem cache (the entire filesystem), a meg or so of ramdisk, a little for buffers... I don't think it is even possible to hit 64MB of RAM usage. Much less 128MB. Certainly never 224MB in a million years.
