Linkmeter remote LMR?

Hello. I’d like to take my probes and fan wireless (Between grill and Heatermeter). I think the Linkmeter Remote module might be the ticket, but I can’t find a detailed build description. I see the references in the official wiki and I found the Arduino code on github.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
 
I don't use one, but my understanding was that the RF module was receive only for probes. Wireless fan control wouldn't be an option with this setup.
