Home Depot is carrying the regular caps now just like the originals. At least I have never seen them before.

They run around $1.50 and the size is 1 inch.

i would stick some rubber caps on. these cheap plastic ones last about a dau or so.

I didn't see them in black AJ and as far as them lasting I agree. The rubber ones will last longer, but these look original.

yea, they would. but some stuff is best left not original, like the hardware !

I go with rubber tips on my kettles also. Hold up a lot better.
