Anyone tried this on their Performer and how did you place it on the grill. Picked one up at Mclendons in Woodinville. Looks like I could use it on a gasser as well as my Performer
 
I've used it on my 22.5 inch OTS and on my WSM. On the OTS I placed it directly over some coals I had let burn down for a good 10 minutes to a nice medium-high heat. But I'm sure it would work just as well on a high indirect heat. On the WSM I put it on the top rack. I really like the rack a lot. It should work just fine on a gasser too.
 
The Bayou Classic wing racks that McClendons is selling are the Stainless steel ones. I have the folding nickel plated ones from Lowes and they work great. I've never used them on my Performer, but have fit 3 on my drum smoker grate.
