So with all the talk about knife sharpening, and Ron's comments about his knife block, I thought I'd post about my LamsonSharp knife safes.

As Ron suggested, having protection for that edge is a key to keeping your edges sharp. I keep my knives in a drawer mainly to limit how much I have on my countertops. These blade protectors are very easy to use. They keep the blade protected from dings and your hands protected from the blades. I did have to do a little bit of surgery on the one I use for my Shun Ken Onion Santoku in order to fit around the unusually shaped handle.

Those look like a great idea for those who prefer to keep their cutlery in a drawer.

Reasonable price, and looks very durable. A much better long-term solution than the cheapo, thin sleeves (unless you only need them for occasional use).
