Last night's dinner was another quick and easy meal, but so delicious. Recipe says to put it over rice but not in the mood so we had it over Gnocchi. Sorry, another recipe that is not grilled.

Korean Beef

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 TB. sesame oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
salt and pepper
1 bunch green onions, diced (don't skip this)

Heat a large skilled over medium heat and brown beef with garlic in the sesame oil. Drain most of the fat and add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, salt and pepper and red pepper. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Serve over steamed rice and top with green onions.
 
Just found out we first made this recipe back in Oct. 2012 and we did have it over rice as recipe suggests and it was very good. Why 8 years between making it if it was so good? There are just too many other good recipes waiting to be made. lol

IF you haven't tried this yet, please do. Especially if the weather won't let you get to your grill. Oh, and yes, still use a lot of green onions.. ;)
