SOooo, i have a 2009 performer, blue.

And tonight i'm picking up an older style stainless performer, red (WOO)

Are the bowls mounted the same way?
Would it be super easy to swap the red and blue kettles?

I think I like the newer style performer better than the old, and having a newer style RED would be badass.

The kettle fits perfectly into either new or old style cart.
Ive already made a old style red kettle into a newer style cart. Fits perfect.
The wires lengths on the ignitor are a little different in length though. The older shorter wires arent long enough to use on the new Performer cart from what I remember.
As long as you keep the wires with the carts they came with, u should be good to go.

i'd love to keep both - but I don't think i have the space (or the wife's patience)

Do you prefer the stainless cart over the new style? Or vise versa?

Im in the same boat you are in Troy as far as space.
As far as what I like better, I like the stainless cart better, but the plastic has a little more space and height. I just dont like how the plastic table can get stained, or crack. I still like the stainless better overall...but the old red kettle on the new cart did look pretty cool!

Troy do you have an extra kettle witht the brackets on the sides. Do you have the blue kettle from the performer that you might want to part with?

Brian

I could probably part with the bowl portion, as I have an extra (with the brackets on the side)

Are you building your own performer?
