Kettle replacement on 1990's generation Performer

I have one of the 1990's model Performers which has the stainless steel work surface. The kettle has a ton of mileage on it, and although it's in acceptable shape for now, there will come a day when I need to replace it. Are the newer generations of Performer replacement kettles backwards-compatible with my older model, or am I stuck having to hunt specifically for the older kettle & lid?

The newer performers are a direct fit. Guys have taken the Crate & Barrel green lid/bowl and bolted them into the SS Performers without a hitch. Long live the SS!

I am still looking for an SS performer. Thinking it would look really cool with a brownie kettle in it.

Jerome - my hobby has turned into a full blown addiction. lol

Bob - not sure Weber ever put a brownie in a table. (As in brown was discontinued before the performer was born)
