I did one, did not affect the tank scale.
On the later model grills (~1990s) You can use a RH table on the LH side by flipping the slider bar over and cutting a notch. It clears the scale enough for the plastic slider to clear the scale and tank support.

Nice shop!
I've got the correct hardware for the right side table on a Genesis, all it will cost you is the piece of frame I need.Thanks. What about on a 1000 tho? With the wood slat tables ? The table has a slider support.

I think it might work with the newer style scale as used on the Silver series of grills, but it might not work with the very early style scale with the pointer on the outside of the leg. I'm just guessing.

Yeah, that's an early Genesis 1-5 frame.Yea i dont have a scale like the one pictured. Is that a metal piece welded to the frame where the needle goes? Dont think ive seen one like that yet.
What frame piece do you need?I've got the correct hardware for the right side table on a Genesis, all it will cost you is the piece of frame I need.
The piece that the cookbox bolts to. The grill I picked up had one of the connecting tabs broken at the weld. What frame piece do you need?
