Interesting Test

So I watched this and found it somewhat interesting. But early in the vid, there is an issue that comes up. Added a little "twist". I do want to try these pellets though, WOW are they expen$ive! With capitol $$$$$$$.

IDK why it's "dark side". But, I noted they did get it going in the second test and paid note how much it was liked. But I wish they would have indicated what actually had gone wrong.

IDNK that pecan shells offered any substantial BTU's.
I always thought they added another wood for heat and kept one ( or a combo ) for flavor.
They say it lasts longer and slower. .5 # per hour @ 225-350.
I know I blast thru that average using a blend on my Smokefire.
