Injecting and Brining


 
I've never injected but last year I did a bacon herb and butter compound underneath the skin. Not real sure how much of a difference it made. Im sure it cant hurt. Give it a try and see.
 
I inject my chicken and turkey with butter all the time, and it's awesome! If your worried about the salt content just use unsalted butter. Ya really can't go wrong with butter.
 
Brine but never injected too. That said I can't imagine it would do anything except add flavor. Let us know how it turns out.
