Hi, I bought Q200 off CL this week. The ignitor didn't work, and the burner tube didn't light all the way around when I used a lighter. So here's what I did:
1. I used a brass scrub brush along the holes.
2. I then took everything apart, and washed it with a bucket of warm soapy water. And I was especially apprehensive about this: I also scrubbed the burner tube and let it soak in the hot water.
3. I poked the burner tube holes with a push pin, being careful not to make the holes any bigger than they should be.
4. Rinsed it out with a garden hose and let everything dry over night.
I was afraid that washing/scrubbing the burner tube would break it, but it didn't. It's built commercial grade. I fired it up the next day, and ALL points lit up with ONE push of the ignitor!
One last tip: If using a 20lb propane tank, turn on the propane tank and leave it on for about a minute before turning the gas on the Q grill. Apparently it takes a while for the gas to reach the Q grill for it to push the gas out.
I'm enjoying every minute of this Q grill!
