I know somewhere there was a bit of a tool box thread

But, as the heading indicates, I don't remember where it is. In any case I finally got my hands on a great roller cabinet deal. I had a 25% off coupon from Hazard Fraught. Got the 9 drawer 46" model for $275! Only real disappointment? Only 2 of the casters swiveled. Other 2 stationary. So, went back to HF, got 2 5" swiveling ones and bolted those on. Set me back an extra $16

I’m quite fond of the color. How are the drawer slides?
They're "OK". Costco had the SteelCraft one on sale for $349 (down from $379) and TBH it's the one I REALLY wanted. (soft close, different drawer arrangement, outlet strip, heavier build, etc) https://permasteel.life/home-improv...heavy-duty-wall-mounted-power-tool-organizer/
But with 25% off courtesy coupon bringing the HF one down to $275 it was too good a deal to not take. Honestly for my needs this will serve me decently if not "well".
So even though I had to spend an additional $17 to get 2 additional rotating casters it's pretty equal. The slides on the Permasteel are a tad longer allowing the drawers to pull out an additional inch or so.
Bottom line I didn't think the extra $$$ would have made that much difference to my needs.

That's a really good deal. I was just at Menards and they had two sizes a 41" and 56". 6 or 8 bills,
Masterforce. I have 2 of the upper wall cabinets.

Glad you’re pleased with your purchase. To me drawer slides are the biggest make or break. Especially once the drawers are loaded with tools. Soft close isn’t a biggie for me. It would be a nice feature but in an everyday use tool box I would think that would turn to being a weak spot.
