I know some will kill me for this

But I sold my Performer 2007 and bought a 10 year old Genesis Silver C.

My rational was, I already own a One touch Gold that I love and I have rarely used the performer this summer. The convenience of this Gasser will be nice to have.

BTW I bought my performer 1 year ago for 100, sold for 120 bought this gasser for 90.

I would have sold the OTG and kept the performer for the table space, but that's me.

I have the 'B', same vintage and am happy with it. I would actually prefer the 'C' as I like the side burner for lighting charcoal. I particularly like to use a gasser when I want to grill some vegetables to go with dinner.

Hey - you got the "best of both worlds":

-Nice Charcoal rigs, for when you have the time / slower cooking of stuff that benefits from the flavor that charcoal adds.

-Gasser, for quick-cook convenience and ease of temperature regulation when you want THAT.

(Although I also would have ditched the Silver and kept the Performer - now you need to update your Signature...)

I totally agree with George. Genesis is a great grill. You'll love it. The heat is so unbearable around here that if I didn't have a gasser, I would rarely cook outside.

Congratulations.
