HM 4.2.4 build working great on USB power but not with AC

Hello,

I just finished my first HM build with the latest 4.2.4 version without thermocouple support.
Everything is working great, UI is accessible thru Lan and Wifi, Maverick Probes are working correctly!

I only have a problem, I plugged the device first with micro-usb located on the RaspPi as suggested in the wiki.
After initial configuration, I tried to power the device with an AC adapter (5v 1A) but nothing happen.
No light, no message, nothing. Weird cause it work really great on USB power.
Any idea for a quick hint where to start the troubleshooting for that kind of problem?

When plugin up power to the HeaterMeter board barrel jack it needs to be 12 volts. 1 amp should be plenty but can be increased if using a bigger fan.
