Hi everyone,

I'm glad that I stumbled upon this forum. I've got an SP-100 that I got off CL years ago. I added a few stainless parts and I've been grilling ever since! I had no idea about convection cooking until I got the SP-100. I'm super glad that the original manual was included with the grill, or I might have never figured that out.

I recently picked up a Genesis Silver B in NG and I'm looking to convert to LP. I'll save that post for the gas grill forum. Happy grilling everyone!

Welcome aboard Jeff. Good luck with that Silver B. Don't have an answer for you but am also curious. NG grills pop up on CL occasionally and to know in advance would be great. I will be building a new grilling and smoking area in my backyard this summer but I don't really want to run a gas line out there. Electrical and low voltage are not a problem, but tapping into a NG line is a pain. Have fun with your upgrade.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! No blue corn, but yes to lots of XXX Hatch green chile. Once you get a taste for green chile, you will crave it for the rest of your life :).

Bob, I did post in the gas grill section and received some help. I was able to find the answer I needed by continued Internet search. The parts are available, just not for sale by Weber. It was more than I wanted to spend, but I wanted the grill to operate correctly, so I picked up the proper manifold by part number online. Then i got wind of rcplanebuyer's stainless grates and it was all over - that's where most of the investment was made. I'll be into this grill for around $350, but IMHO, it will be worth it in the long run as it should last for at least a decade. I'll keep the NG parts around in case the need arises. Good luck on your new grill spot!
