Help with Grill Identification

I recently picked-up a used Weber gasser - As usual, with older gassers, the Serial Number / Model Number label is long-gone.

I did look at the various parts schematics on the Weber website. From what I could ascertain, it seems to be a Genesis-1, Weber Genesis 1000 or an older Silver-B.
Some distinguishing features of mine:

-3-Burners
-Short Cart (Single Table & flip-up on one side / burner controls on the other)
-Basic Cart - not enclosed / no doors
-Single Bar betwen L & R bottom of cart
-Wire rack in bottom of cart is half-width
-Gas guage - "Scale" type with pointer (Pointer legend on RH front cart leg)
-Porcelain-coated, stamped steel grates
(NOT stainless, NOT cast-iron)
-Tables on LH Side are grey plastic
-Single set of flavorizer bars running long-way
-Old-style gas valve for tank / gas line
-Thermometer is not removable (pressed into guard on Right Lid end-cap TIGHT)

Based on the Propane connections and on the style of fuel-guage, I can tell that she's fairly old. But not old enough or "deluxe" enough to have wood tables.

If you have any other specific questions, just ask.

I'll try to post some pictures of it sometime soon - once I get her cleaned and shined-up a bit.

the number sticker is under the gas knob cover. you need to take the cover off and look under the cover. its attached to the cover.

sounds like a silver B to me but we really need to see a pic to be sure. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Called Weber & got the official scoop on this unit:

Turns out that it's a Spirit-700, from 1997 or earlier.

I think that the Spirit-700 eventually became the Silver-B. It was the first unit with plastic side-tables.
