Hey all,
My name is Brad. Super new to this forum. I found this place after being gifted a WSM 18.5 at Christmas from my lovely wife. I had my first smoke on New Years day which turned out quite well. I have never before owned a smoker... just drooled over them at Home Depot and a few BBQ outlets.
A bit about me. I love fitness, hockey (sports in general), my family, dogs and of course BBQ. My first Weber was purchased in 2014, a genesis 300 series, v.1 It’s a propane grill.
I live in Central Canada, and the name “Winnipeg” is the language of our first nations people, which loosely translates to “Muddy Waters”. Our summers are hot and our winters are typically colder than your freezer on any given day. We have a joke around these parts that the seasons in Winnipeg are 6 months winter and 6 months construction.
That’s about it for my quick intro. Looking forward to being a contributing member in any way that I can help out.
Cheers,
B.
