Hello from EP, RI.
New School griller here. Bought my grill when I bought my house 2 years ago and tried to grill everything and anything I could get my hands on. This year I rescued a OTG Kettle that I bought real cheap and was in need of major help....$30 on CL. Now I think I rather own a Performer because of the table.
Even though my E210 is a bottom of the can Weber, it does the job for me. First thing I did was sold the porcelain enameled grates and the porcelain flavorizer bars on ebay. Then ordered cast iron grates, and stainless steel flavorizer bars. After a year of grilling I started messing around with rubs and sauces, that is always fun.
2015 holds, more briskets, more wings, and more steaks. Will be cooking a turkey on the OTG for new years.
I been lurking around here like most beginners do, finally joined the other day. Tend to go on WKC site and CL daily, hope to add this site to my daily feeds.
Any help on me getting a Performer in my area would be great. Saw a few for $50-$75 but were gone before I could bite. Need to check these things daily I guess.
