Thanks for permitting me to join this group. From all my reading, etc, this is the place to be to learn and participate. I am a long-time Weber BBQ'er. I just purchased my fourth Weber device - a 14.5" WSM smoker - to go along with my Genesis gas grill, 22-inch kettle and Q100 traveler. After reading and listening I need a lot of help with the art of smoking properly. My two sons also have Weber gear, both 18 and 22 WSM's, gas and charcoals types as well. They are experts in the field of smoking but they are 1500 and 5000 Km's away from here so Dad needs all the help he can get.

Hey William, welcome aboard from your neighbour in Brookfield NS. This is a Great forum so ask lots of questions and you will learn fast. I don’t have a WSM but did build a SJ Mini which is similar but have not used it much. Look forward to your posts. Enjoy!
