My name is Dan, I have been refurbishing Weber grills for many years now. My current project is a 2007 Genesis (Sidewinder) which I believe is one of Best Grills weber ever made. I actually have 2, my first grill was a silver B . As you all know many weber grills are discarded well before their time, some of my "rescue" grills only require a good cleaning and are ready for service again in just a few hours. Others take a lot more effort, but in my opinion well worth it! As I am an Aircraft Structures Mechanic I am able to Fabricate many replacement parts which is so necessary on many genesis series grills. I Have quite an extensive inventory inventory of new and used parts for many models, so maybe i can help someone out sometime. Not really trying to make money here, just love the product and want to support others if I can. I have refurbished many grills and sold a few and given others away, I just love bringing them back to life. I don't Know if others feel the same as i do about Weber's current new grills but I not really impressed . Anyway, I will try to send some pictures of my projects if any one is interested. Thanks!

This is one my first projects, I actually fabricated a new liner from 304 SS, turned out really nice. Really cant explain the Harley emblems, they came from another donor grill but thought they looked nice

When I saw Miamisburg in the title, I knew it had to be right down the road. It's always great to see another Weber enthusiast in the area and online. Your grill looks great!

Cheers!

Thanks Steve, I just finished my current restoration project, a 2007 Side control, I'm really excited about this one it was fabricated with high quality 304 SS. (I have another same year grill in my Que that has Magnetic grade SS) I will soon start a new thread on this grill and provide lots of pictures to show all the mods I did on this grill. Dan
