Hello from Hawaii

Hello! My name is Jeff, I'm active duty Navy and my wife and two kids moved out to hawaii a year ago. I've been 'smoking' for a couple of years now. My first smoker was a brinkmann Trailmaster which I used with great results up until about a month ago. I wanted something a little smaller and more portable so I started researching and came up with the weber. Bought the WSM 18.5 and just did my first chicken on it this past weekend and loved it!

Welcome to the forum Jeff, never made it to Hawaii during my military time, but I did make it to your neck of the woods as I was in Bath/Brunswick for 12 years.
 
Welcome ! What part of Hawaii? I was in the Navy (some time ago) and we used to do our Torpedo-Exercises out of Barbar's Point, HI.
