Greetings all. I just got my first 18.5" WSM. After some research I decided to jump in with all four feet and purchased the WSM, added gaskets and installed a DigiQ DX2. My primary goal is to consistently acheive that exceptional smoked flavor. I have used it once so far and the ribs were not as good as I hoped. They were good just not exceptional. I am not discouraged because I realize I am at the bottom of the learning curve. I will be back with questions.
 
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new WSM. You WILL improve. This is a great place to learn and to share. Ask all the questions you want and many here will help out. Don't forget to post pics of your cooks.
 
Welcome to the forum Gordon. Congrats on your WSM as I do enjoy mine. Trust me it does take a couple of runs to get the flavors and tenderness your looking for and this is the place to get any help you need.
