Hassleback potatoes


 
They make a wooden cupped plate to help you cut 1 , you can use 2 wooden spoons set 1 on each side then a straight edge knife ,I like about a 1/4" slices, when you lay the potatoes down to cut it you want to use a side that is rounded so when you lay it out to cook it will separate to allow all the good stuff to drop down between the slices, olive oil butter garlic ect and cheese at the end are really good. also the slices will get crisper with good separation and be tender , I am diabetic and try not to indulge very often any more but its about time to fall off the wagon lol
