So, after my first cook, I found that I needed a better solution than sitting the lid on the ground. I didn't want to trust that lid hook especially since I just straightened out the handle. ::cool:




 
Nate, nice holder! But those naked steel handles would look really nice covered in wood.
 
The handles are in the garage waiting on me to decide what color to stain them. Cleaned them up last weekend.

Here's what a cleaned up one looks like against what they use to look like.
 
The lid holder looks cool. I'm having to remember where my hook is each time I remove the lid, so I might get one in the future. Right now I need the worktable more. Just found out they make them for kettles. There is a site online that has one for 25 bucks, but the site is on rip off report. I ain't chancing it.
