Go any where gas

On the fence, I can pick up a gas go anywhere with wood handles for $20, Craycort now has the ci grates @45. Think I want the charcoal but haw hard could it be to gut it into one?

The differences in gas vs coal.
The coal has adjustable top vents.
Gas only has fixed vents.
The gas has a flavoriver bar and holes in the bottom under the gas tube.
So coal is going to drop out those holes unless you cover it with something.
There are a few more details..

My guess is that if you want charcoal, get a charcoal one.
If the wood handles are what you are after, buy the gas. Then buy a charcoal one and switch the handles. Then clean and sell the gas one for a profit!
