Said this one never gets hotter than 425*.
It was FILTHY, but in very good condition with almost zero rust. As I cleaned it, I noticed a problem with the regulator hose. Yep, that’s the hose bent against the firebox. Melted nicely too. Changed it out, inverted the connection so the rubber hose was away from the box and it hit 600* in under 12 parsecs (for all of you Star Wars fans).
