I plan to roast a boneless rib roast on Saturday. So I wanted to verify how accurate my hood thermo is.
The good news is, the hood thermometer is EXCELLENT. Easily, within 5-10* of a Thermoworks Dot !!! I'm so pleased and impressed.
The dot was laid on the middle grate with two side burners on low. Of coarse the builtin thermo was in the hood. In realty +/- 25* is not an issue if you measure the temp of the roast....
