Genesis 1000, one side colder than other.

I have a Genesis 1000 that I bought last year off of CL. I bought all new flavorizer bars, grates, burners, and manifold for it.

The side closest to the manifold gets a lot hotter than the left side of the grill. Is there a way to regulate this or is this normal? The temp difference seems to be quite a bit. Thanks for any help.

Well, the grill is on a level concrete pad of the carport so I don't know if that is the problem. I didn't know if there was something else I could regulate to even things out. I guess I will call Weber CS tomorrow and see what they tell me. Thanks.

I THOUGHT my patio was level too until I actually put a level on it and found out it wasn't. Even a gentle slant made a big difference.

Please post what you find out from Weber. I'd be very interested in know what else I could do.

I totally forgot to call Weber and forgot to respond back here. I still have the problem so I will call Weber when I get back from being out of town next week.

Just a heads up on this from my side.

I mounted thermometers on my Weber 1000 dedicated coffee roaster and it runs hotter right to left. @10-15*
But over time it evens out. No big deal when I'm roasting beans, don't think it would bother me on the Genesis C.
