As expected, right about the time that I was going to begin reassembling my dark blue Gen 2 with its new bowl and lid, I come across a thread that makes me hit the brakes and look at a new direction (thanks @Samuel lol)
So I am now thinking of taking my crimson OTG, slapping my LE hardware on it, and put THAT in my Gen 2 cart instead.
And it got me to thinking a couple other options.
I can't decide between the (new) performer lid bale, or the hinge from unknown bbq.
And since I'm undecided as of yet about taking on the task of cutting the holes for the GA, I'm trying to come up with what to do if I leave the gas assist off.
I don't know if I want to leave the cover for the knob and igniter if it's gone, but at the same time I don't know what to possibly cover the holes up with and still make it look good.
I prefer the look of the stainless gen 2 panel which is why I'd rather go that route.
What do you guys think?
