Gasket

I used to do a lot of "work" on my neighbors BGE until he moved away. I recently got a WSM and love it, however I have noticed the smoke/heat leaks on the lid and the door. I went to my local Ace and picked up the fireproof replacement gasket for the SMALL BGE. I stuck it around the bottom lip of the rim that the lid sits on and it seals everything up nicely. I also stuck it around the top of the side door and created a nice seal there as well. A simple mod that works great, thought I would share. Thanks -B

That's interesting, but it's really not a problem if the WSM is a bit leaky, and you may actually have some problems getting up to higher temps so you might want to keep that in mind if you have any problems.
