Gasket RTV curing?

Hi everyone.
Las night I did the gasket mod on my 22.5. I followed the instructions carefully IE cleaned, degreased, wiped with acetone, made sure it was dry etc... I know that it says that it requires 24 hrs to cure, however when I checked it this morning it didn't seem like the RTV had even set yet. It was still very tacky. Does temperature play a part in the RTV curing process? I live in a cold climate and did the mod in a cold garage. Does it need to be moved inside?
Thoughts anyone?

Thanks,

As the RTV came in a kit it did not have a MSDS with it. The instructions on the back of the RTV don't say anything about temp.

When I did my gaskets, the adhesive called for curing temps of 400 degrees. Your kit is obviously different but my guess is temp does play a part in the curing process. Bring it inside and warm it up.

Temp has a big effect on curing times of most adhesives. I'd recommend bringing the section into your warm home asap, if it hasn't cured yet.
