Hey all. First post! I happened to find this amazing bbq in the trash the other day and would love to restore it. I'm pretty sure its a early 2000's Spirit perhaps even earlier as the serial numbers were hard to decode.

It needs new flavor bars, and the side table is pastic and damaged/melted. burners look ok but the biggest issue i have is trying to convert this to LP from NG. I have been reading and the best way is a new manifold (hard to find) or some janky replace the orifices. I'm trying to keep my costs down as it might end up being a lot cheaper to just buy a used LP model and start there. I would like to replace my "daily" Q grill with this and use that for portable use only!

Check it out still can't believe they tossed it. The frame is in nice condition too.

I think it may be easier to find a 3 burner lp manifold than a 2 burner, and play spapsies with the valves. I have done that with great results.

Simple conversion. IIRC the 2 burner uses the same valves as a Genesis B or C only fewer of them. Get yourself a manifold from one of those, swap out 2 valves and you're done.
