Found something REALLY interesting on EBay

So, earlier this AM while perusing FleaBay, I came across a listing for a Baratza Encore coffee grinder. But it did not look like any Encore I've seen. As it was an "Esatto". So I do some research and find it's an accessory for pretty much all the Baratza cone grinders (Encore, Virtuoso, Encore Plus and a few more). It attaches to the base, and then controls the grind mechanism based on weight not time. Now, how cool is that? Anyway person said they did not know much about the grinder and had it for $75 as BIN. Turns out that attachment is like $150 alone! This thing was worth the gamble IMO. Since the Virtuoso Plus has an electronic timer I would have to bypass that internally or I could rebuild the Encore and put the nicer burrs in it.

Well I may be into some coffee grinder rehabs soon. Now in addition to the one mentioned in my first post, today I nailed down a Baratza Vario-W incredibly cheap (under $200) which the Vario W is IIRC a $599 grinder.
I have a customer's mixer on the bench currently but intend to dig into the next 2 grinders once they get here. I'm quite pleased with how the Virtuoso + came out, so I think I have a salable and profitable grinder there with that one.
I may make one of these a "keeper" though and sell possibly the Breville I'd rebuilt and have working flawlessly. Decisions, decisions
