First rebuild: Weber Genesis 1200

Hello Everyone,
I am in the middle of my first rebuild! Found a Weber 1200 Model 210000 on craigslist and decided to refurbish and give to my brother. He has needed a grill for awhile. Learning a lot but have a question I am hoping someone can help with. The frame has some rust in the corners of the frame, but it doesn't look too bad. However, the frame is wobbly. The bolts for the cross bars to the L and R side frames are tight, but it wobbles. Any ideas on how I can shore this up?

I have read some of these threads lately and have to say this forum is awesome.

Hi Randy. I am new here and don't know the answer to your question but I see someone else just asked a similar question. Hopefully someone will have an idea. Good luck!

I used long threaded rods. You have to take the crossmembers out knock out the spider nuts or whatever they call them. Run threaded rod all the way through. I think 3/16" works right IIRC

Thank you! I found your thread after submitting. I am going to give it a shot today. I twisted the bolt head off the screw holding the box in the frame so once I figure that out I will fix the actual frame! Thanks so much.
