I am converting an S-670 natural gas grill to propane. A neighbor decided not to take it to his new home. After reading many posts, I have decided to replace the complete manifold with a new one set up for propane. Running a new natural gas line would be too difficult. What needs to be done with the side burner and rotisserie burner?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forum Charlie and good call on changing the manifold on that grill. I'm sure you'll save yourself quite a headache. You are going to still need to replace the orifices on the rotisserie and side burners although I don't know the specifics off hand. If nobody else chimes in here, start a new thread about converting the grill to LP and you'll get all the answers you're looking for and more. It's always a fun topic here. Good luck!

Get the exploded view of the two units and compare the part numbers. That will tell you which NG LP parts are centric to each grill and then list your parts, contact Weber and get a price.

Thanks for the help.
I have an exploded view of the LP unit. It only shows the complete side burner assembly. It doesn't break it down any further.

That sounds like Weber. Another option is a donor grill and do a parts swap.

The big difference will be the gas orifices. I have a S670NG.

eBay or Amazon might sell the orifices. I’d get the sizing of your NG ones and see if you can buy/source the screw on (if they are screw on) orifices.

I don’t know if the internal hoses post-regulator are the same between NG and LP. I’d assume they are though. Just the main regulator would be different and the manifolds. If the hosing is identical then it’s just the orifices that would need swapping out.
