Serial starts with DD (year 2000) and the Part No: is 2262001 and the Model No: is 2260000. I am turning in a product registration just for grins, but I don't expect it to be covered. If there's any coverage, it may be just weeks or months, and the only condition issue seems to be some of the paint coming off the Cookbox.
For anyone with a similar year Silver C, the Serial is covered by the RHS burner assembly. You can lift up the burner assembly fully intact, just enough, to get pictures of the serial number. The side burner's corners closest to the Cookbox has two galvanized tabs that go into a slot at each corner of the burner's lower pan assembly. Just put a bit of pressure away from the pan, and then that corner can be lifted up.
And kudos to @Steve Hoch 's knowledge on these.
