eyelets/grommets idea.

On work to day i drilled a hole in a bolt and my thought was to replase 1 of the "standard" screws that keeps the grate in place with this one,havent got my maverick termometer yet and the 2 i have at home atm only 1 fits thru the bolt i made.

I can make the hole bigger and i can shorten the bolt so that wont be a problem but will try my new maverick first.(need to have a hole that fit both probes)

This way i only need to make 1 of the original holes bigger so that this bolt matches,no need to make a new hole in the enamel.

If u se any pros/cons with this pls tell me.

To be honest, I went the cheap route and just removed one of the top bolts.

I find the support from the other straps and bolts are more than sufficient.

That's exactly what I have been meaning to try! Just need to find someone with a drill press. Nice going!

Did this same bolt with a bigger hole inside and i did a smaller bolt with the same sized hole as the first one to get the ultimate eyelets for the wsm.

I havent got the maverik yet so i dont know if i can use the small bolt but ill keep u updated.
