Ethernet cable length

I am thinking of a direct cable connection to my router instead of buying a bridge. Is there a limitation to how long this cable can be and still work? I would need about a 25 ft cable.
Thanks, Dan

You will be more than fine with a 25 foot cable, but I'd probably buy a longer one to be safe, say fifty foot. You can use one that's too long, but not one that's too short.

No worries.

UTP ethernet cable max length limit is 100m = 328ft.

I used a 100ft cable to run internet access from one side of the house to the other when wireless reception was poor.
