E210 Spirit question

Hello, all:
I've been looking at the 210 and the 310 models, and wondered about indirect cooking on the 210. We are a family of 4, and haven't grilled much (but also haven't owned a gas grill). We do occasionally entertain, and like the option to grill for company. The grill would go on our condo patio and I love the fold-down side table option. I've seen these models in person but just wondered whether it's feasible to consider pork loin, chicken on a vertical rack, etc. and larger cuts of meat in between the two burners on the 210. We have had the medium-sized BGE (a great grill), didn't have issues with grilling space on it, but sold it since we wanted the ease of propane. I suppose I could always leave the side shelves off the 310 (we have a table on the patio) to take up less space. Thanks for your input. I know both of these grills get great reviews. Linn

I would go with nothing less than the 310 for a fam of 4. Frankly I would not even buy the Spirit. I'd be seriously looking at the Genesis. If $$$ is tight look into a used older model Genesis (they're much better made anyway) and the horizontal burners allow for much easier rotisserie cooking IMO. Or check out other makers i.e. BroilKing which sells a very nice American made product with rear rotisserie burner and side burner for about the same price as the Chinese Spirit

Thanks for the feedback! I have looked at the Genesis and I do like the heaviness of the lid - I can tell a difference. Appreciate your reply!
