Drip pan setup with 2 turkeys.

I have done two turkey smokes now with single turkeys using a foil pan on the bottom grate and the turkey on the top grate that turned out pretty well. I am contemplating cooking two 14-16lb birds this weekend in my 18.5 WSM and was wondering what kind of drip pan setup I should use.

Do the top turkey drippings really affect the bottom turkey much? I'm concerned that if I put the turkeys on/in a pan that could affect the evenness of the cooking. My initial thought was to just stick a foil pan in the water pan to catch the drippings so they don't burn since I will be using an empty pan.

I had read some comments on here about not ruining the skin of the bottom bird so i thought I had better ask.

If we decide to smoke both turkeys I will give it a shot. I am planning on seasoning one up with Weber's roasted garlic seasoning and injecting the other with Tony Chachere's creole butter injection marinade. Used the weber seasoning on the bird yesterday and there was hardly any anything left of it even though we had another whole bird plus a breast that had been cooked in the oven.
