Crazy Q Question: Gas Adjustment

Hi. Just thinking out loud. If one desired a grate temp that was lower than the lowest setting on their burner would it be possible to adjust the burner between High and Off? Can you maintain a stable temp within that range? Is there danger in running gas within that range? Thx.

I doubt you could get or keep a flame going at what you desire. Why ?

I would be careful as the flame is already pretty low on them so you may have a flame out and than gas buildup

Good point. One of the Q's wants to cruise above 400f, so I was just wondering.
