Ingredients Required

8 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice



Instructions


Combine cabbage and carrots in a large salad bowl.
Mix remaining ingredients together and mix well in separate bowl.
Pour liquid ingredients over cabbage and carrots and stir.
Although overnight is better, refrigerate at least two hours before serving.
 
Made this a couple times now, this stuff is great! I go less on the milk, in fact use a bit of half and half instead to make it less runny. Very good slaw recipe, thanks for posting it.
