Cool Little Device I found

So, some might recall back in Feb we did a trip to Kalahari for wife's 70th. Whole family up there. Hating hotel coffee as much as I do I stuffed a smaller full sized grinder and a little 5 cup Cuisinart coffee maker into our luggage. Well, as it turned out, even though they made fun of me, much of my family then decided our room was "the coffee shop" :D So I was grinding multiple batches and brewing multiple pots. (good thing I'd brought extra beans LOL). Well I saw these little portable battery operated grinders. Slim, one button, so I found one on Amazon Prime Days for just under $19.
Well the darn thing can make a respectable grind. Though slow. I will have to experiment with a full 5 cup worth or (40 grams) of beans so stay tuned.

Larry -- not your exact same use case. But I've been test driving the Aeropress for the last couple of months.

Very small/portable, simple, fast way to make one good cup of coffee at a time. Quality of the brew compares decently to my daily driver of a french press. But is paper filtered like a drip or pour over. Clean up is really nice as compared to a FP.

I got the Fellows Prismo upgrade. That tidies up the workflow (no drips) and also gives you the option to filter with metal rather than paper (to get a more FP, espresso taste). Or you can use both.

An Aeropress might pair well with your mini grinder for a travel coffee kit.

That's not too bad if you are only making once cup at a time. About 10g right?

Which is probably the base use case for a mini grinder.

How's the grind size and adjust-ability?

All that is good. It does a nice grind. It has nice stainless steel burrs appear to be 35-40mm conical. Not sure if I want to send it back and just fall back on my Shardor for travels or not.
