Combining Postage to Australia

Hey all,

Was wondering if any forum member would help me out with combining the postage of the following items to Australia for me. Ordering them individually and with direct from store shipping is too expensive approx $100.

PRO-SERIES® HIGH TEMP COOKING PROBE x 2
K type thermocouple 4"probe with Clip, Smoker, Oven
HeaterMeter v4.2 Kit Thermocouple

My idea is to have them delivered to a forum member in the US, then they place 3 items in a suitable size box, then post to me is Australia, should be less than $50 postage.

I am happy to transfer funds via Paypal upfront for item cost and shipping.

Oof I just looked and USPS quoted me $59 for their "medium box" which should hold all that stuff. UPS was even more hilarious at $155 because they want to charge for 4lbs dimensional weight. Based on their sizes I can _almost certainly_ fit them all in the HeaterMeter kit box if I use the small bubble wrap which means ~$20 shipping to you USPS.

Also if you go through the HeaterMeter store you save $2 over using Tindie.
 
More than happy to help as well. Outside the US/Europe, I know how much it sucks being bitten by the outrageous shipping charges and lack of availability of parts.

BTW, the small flat rate US Postal Service box to Australia measure 8-5/8" x 5-3/8" x 1-5/8" (I'll let you convert to cm ;) ) runs $24.75 takes about a week to get there. It probably would all fit, if not, could always put less delicate stuff in a padded envelope.

Yeah I ship all the time to Australia, it is the #1 foreign customer for HeaterMeters. The HeaterMeter kit takes up almost more than the small flat rate box, it sort of bulges, but they take it and we haven't lost one yet. I think it is $21 on the store because part of the shipping cost is built into the kit cost.
