I have a great friend that is moving to the Clemson SC area - I am road tripping with him tomorrow to go help put together a new Weber Gasser and spend a few days messing around/goofing off. He'll be moving his WSM down there pretty soon I think but not on this trip. 
I'm curious if anyone on the forum is familiar with this part of the country and has recommendations for locally owned BBQ supply stores, meat markets, or diners/bbq joints. Especially curious if there is a locally owned meat shop with house-made sausage, and brisket and such. Obviously we can google and we can use yelp, and there are some big-box stores down there but I've found that advice from the forum is way better.
