Cleaning the grate of a Q1200

Just purchased a Q1200. What do you use to clean the grate? I have seen threads and instructions that state not to use a SS grill brush on porcelain grates but the brush Weber sells specifically for Q models has SS bristles.

I've been using a Libman SS brush for a few years on my Q2200, no probs.

I like the Libman brass brushes best. I buy them at our local place here called Menards. They sell the brass ones. Haven't seen the SS ones.

They have them in the cleaning aisle by the mops and brooms, not the BBQ aisle, weird.
