I did a search here and saw that this hadn't been posted. It is the "Rib Rub" recipe from the ChefSteps website. Link to site. The following makes quite a lot so I only made a quarter amount.
150g Salt, kosher
83g Black pepper, coarse ground
83g Mustard seed, coarse ground
75g Sweet smoked paprika
72g Brown sugar
64g Celery seed, coarse ground
49g Cumin, coarse ground
44g Mace, powder
7g Monosodium glutamate
Although I've been aware of this recipe for sometime today was the first time I've actually made the rub and thought it was worth sharing. I haven't actually cooked any ribs or butts with it yet but I have tried it and I also used it in my sauce #5 and it is good!
