Char broiled pork

So I processed that butt pack I bought.

I cut some steaks, one big roast, a few char sui chunks and this dinner of sliced pieces.

Marinated these in black pepper, gran garlic, sugar, dark and regular soy sauce and neutral oil (maybe 15 minutes total and well tossed to coat).

Laid out the marinated pieces on an aluminum tray and broiled on the lowest rack position until slightly charred.

Placing on the lowest rack on broil gives you the time to cook the pork without burning the sugars.

This is a riff on Vietnamese char broiled pork except that recipe has lemongrass and shallots. So add those if you have them.

Super easy and flavorful. Enjoy!
