Cast Iron Grates and Smokenator Question....

Is refueling/adding wood difficult on the Smokenator with Cast Iron Grill Grates? It seems like the dimensions would interfere or be more difficult than with the SS hing. Does one of the four quadrants match up conviently over the Smokenator? I'm asking this as 26 OTG owner, but 22 OTG answers would be the same I guess.

I'm sure it probably does (probably wrong though). I do love my cast iron grates, but when I'm cooking a big bird or something that will need me to refuel the grill I will throw my hinged grate back on.
